{"id":65,"date":"2018-01-11T06:56:10","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T06:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doontimes.in\/?p=65"},"modified":"2018-01-11T06:57:56","modified_gmt":"2018-01-11T06:57:56","slug":"us-urges-increased-caution-travel-india-due-crime-terrorism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doontimes.in\/?p=65","title":{"rendered":"US urges increased caution for travel to India due to crime, terrorism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>T<\/strong>he United States of America, in an updated Level-2 travel advisory issued today, asked its citizens to &#8220;exercise increased caution&#8221; due to &#8220;crime and terrorism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The travel advisory asks US citizens not to travel to Jammu and Kashmir, except east Ladakh and Leh, due to the existence of &#8220;terrorism and civil unrest.&#8221; The advisory also recommends that American tourists steer clear of areas within 10 kms of the India-Pakistan border, saying the regions have a &#8220;potential for armed conflict&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Indian authorities report rape is one of the fastest growing crimes in India.
